2006 FDNY
We took a recent trip to the great City of New York to Buff some fires. Bad thing was, there were no fires. We spent the night and part of the next day following some companies out of Manhattan and were able to get some nice photos. Here are some that I have and I'll post more in the weeks to come. We have another trip coming up soon so hopefully we'll get some more good action shots.

2/28/07 Jewett City
On the evening of February 28 around 18:00hrs the Jewett City Fire Dept. was called to the area of 100 Lilly Pond Rd. for a car into a tree. Engine Captain Jim Lepage arrived on scene to find one vehicle into a tree with no patient. Truck Lieutenant Bob Hanson was responding to the scene and found a person walking down Route 12 that needed medical attention. After looking at the windshield of the crash vehicle and the face of the patient walking on Route 12, it was determined that this patient was the driver of the vehicle. The Griswold Ambulance was directed to the scene on Route 12 and Jewett City Fire handled the call on Lilly Pond Rd. All Companies returned to service about a 1/2 hour later.
