2/2/08 Plainfield
Saturday afternoon around 14:30 QV Dispatch received a call from Deputy Chief Blake of Jewett City reporting a car into a tree in front of 1026 Norwich Rd. in Plainfield. While Plainfield units were responding Deputy Chief Blake reported she had one patient with heavy entrapment. Chief Hutchinson from Plainfield requested a second tool from Jewett City and Jewett City's ET-156 to set up a landing zone for Life Star at Jade Garden just up from the scene. Crews from Stations 95 and 56 worked together for almost an hour removing the patient and then transported him to the landing zone.
Thanks to Nick Friday from Jewett City for these photos from his cell phone.
