Firefighters from Jewett City and Griswold Ambulance responded to this vehicle into a propane tank behind the Haven Health Care center on Preston Rd. Tuesday afternoon. First arriving companies found a SUV that had rolled down the parking lot striking a stationary tank. The driver was already out of the vehicle when the Blazer started to roll, the passenger was unable to do so. The passenger refused treatment by EMS while firefighters secured the scene setting up a perimeter and relocating one wing of the Health Care facility. Griswold Fire ET-355 was requested for a water supply if needed. Companies remained on scene for about two hours until the SUV was removed and the tank was secured. No firefighter injuries were reported.

This had the potential to be a disatrous situation. Nicely handled, and as usual great photos. It would be nice to see more shots of personnel on the scenes though.
Thank you for the comment and I will keep that in mind.
