Eastern Connecticut has recently added some new rigs to the front line. Pictured here are two new additions. The first one going to the Salem Fire Department which placed into service this 2008 Ferrara / Ignitor XD, 77' HD quint as Ladder 121. This apparatus is equipped with a 2000 GPM pump and a 300 gal / 30 gal Class A foam tank. This unit replaces a 50" Quint that was purchase from the St. Louis Fire Department about five years ago. That rig has moved on to the Lebenon Fire Department to continue it's service.
You can check out Salem's link on the right for more information on this and more of the apparatus that help protect the Town of Salem
Below is the new Ambulance that was purchased and recently placed into service for the Town of Stonington. This unit will be housed at the Stonington Ambulance station on Alpha Ave. just outside of Stonington Borough. This unit was placed into service as T-201.
