Around 08:30 Jewett City, Griswold and Taftville FAST were requested to Griswold Elementary school for a reported structure fire. First in units found a slight haze in the hall and followed it to a single room with a light ballast fire in the ceiling. A quick knockdown prevented this fire from spreading. Coincidentally the sprinkler system was just shut down at the time of this incident due to construction operations in the building. Mutual Aid was released and the Griswold FM is investigating.
